Our go to spot for fresh sushi at reasonable prices! If you've been looking for a sushi place in the West Chester area that is actually worth it, I highly recommend Fusion. I love that they have so many different/creative rolls to choose from, and they aren't stingy about their fish either. I also like that they offer combinations for tuna and salmon lovers (the bf loves tuna and I love salmon, so that's perfect for us). If you dine in or order at the restaurant, they have a daily special board for those that like to try something new. One of my favorite rolls is the Special Rainbow which has added mango in it... so good!! A must try if you already like the Rainbow Roll. I can only rave about their sushi though because we've ordered the pad thai and general chicken before, but weren't crazy about it.

Best sushi in the area that I've found! Always fresh, big clean cuts of sashimi, and interesting rolls. West Goshen roll is great if you're a soft-shell crab fan. Even takeout was good.

We got carry out from here the other night based on the reviews on Yelp. Turned out great. The special rolls were really good - recommend the Red Hot if you like tuna. When I picked up the food, the restaurant was busy but not too loud, I would definitely go back.

I booked a family party for 30 people with them and they did a wonderful job and for a very nice price. The service was great. The staff are polite and friendly. Our three toddlers didn't faze them either. The food was excellent as usual. My sushi loving nieces were impressed. The decorated plates of fried banana were as beautiful as they were tasty. A wonderful experience. Thank you!!!

So I moved to West Chester about a year ago and this was my first fave restaurant here, food is pretty fast and fresh and the service is good but there is one server (don't know the name) who I dread of having she has a huge attitude problem!! She's just flat out rude. Food is kind of expensive for very simple Asian food for ex. general tso's chicken is too expensive I thinks it's $15 or $16 And it's not a huge portion either. The Kani salad is blah too. But anyways I went on a Friday and there was a wait, I waited 20 minutes I saw a couple that came in after me and got sat before me and got sat immediately! I then got sat 10 minutes later watched about 3 tables get sat after me and they all got service and drinks on the table. I waited for 20 minutes with not one person saying "I'll be right with you" or anything!!! Which yes I get it i am a server you get busy but they really need to work on their customer service!!!! In my opinion, if your server is not ready to be sat keep the customer on a wait for an extra 5 minutes so they can take care of people like me! I had a long day and was starving!! I walked out, screw that place. I don't think I'll be back which is a shame I went there all the time.

My boyfriend lives in West Chester, and this has been his favorite sushi spot for a while. We've been here many times, and I've never been disappointed. He's in love with the Philly rolls, which are pretty great. I am a fan of the spicy crunchy tuna, and I love trying their house special rolls. We tried the dumplings last night, and those were fantastic as well. Nice and crunchy on the outside with generous portions of pork inside. We also tried desserts galore last night, which we'd never done before! Tempura banana = win. Go for it. The service here is always great. My water glass never gets below half full. They serve you cute little orange slices on top of a tiny orange peel platter with your check each time we've been there as well. And don't forget the beautiful flowers that are drizzled onto every plate with colored syrup. It's the little touches that make this place great. And, of course, the always fresh and delicious sushi! Next up for me here: I want to try their pad thai!

I have been here several times the rolls are big, fresh, and fairly priced. It is very comparable to Asuka in regards to quality and value of the sushi ad while the service is friendly and good. Asuka's service is a bit more personable. Still a great sushi spot to come to

The sushi here was very good and my children loved the general's chicken. My husband had the pork lo mein and he said it was also good. The service was courteous and quick. We will be coming back.

This is a great place for sushi! I got the sushi/sashimi platter and it was on point. I didn't feel like I overspent and definitely got my moneys worth here. I've been here for rolls at lunch and they're equally delicious. Everything I've gotten here has been completely gorgeous and I've shared every meal via instagram to make all of my followers jealous and craving delicious Japanese cuisine.

I ordered orange chicken and general tso shrimp to go. When I got home I saw they gave me orange beef. I brought it back and they told me that I ordered orange beef and started giving me attitude. After some back and forth they finally made me orange chicken but were unapologetic. The food food was mediocre at best. The chicken was soggy and shrimp was just ok. Unfortunately, the nearest good Chinese place around West Chester is Han Dynasty in Exton.

We go here a lot . The chicken dishes come with white meat chicken the sauces are sweet so get them on the side. Some vegetables on the entrees would be nice. Mixed reviews on the apps. The sushi rolls can be very good. I like the server who says "ding dong" despite what others say.

Great food! A cozy little shopping center spot where you can relax and enjoy good food rather than worry about parking or whether you'll get a table. Ordered four rolls among the two of us, and everything was delicious! It's also cool that it's a BYOB. We had edamame and the four rolls and the bill was about $40.00. Not bad! Will definitely be back.

Major thank you to the whole team at Fusion. I was looking for a place for 15 teenage girls and 10 adults same day. They more more than happy to accommodate the group. they were set up and ready for us even before our reservation time. They had ample staff assigned to the group. They even wotked with splitting the tip "by parent and jersey number". The food choices were wonderful, and the presentation and taste was even better! The staff draw beautiful art on each plate in fruit sauce, that shows the quality they put in every dish. I really can't say enough great things about this place. Try it if you are a local, definitely try it if you are a traveling athletic parent! As the girls said "best team dinner ever!" And I HIGHLY recommend the avocado sashimi appetizer!

Sweet baby Jesus.. I don't know why it took me so long to get here! Their sushi is top-notch and really fairly priced. Also their watercress wonton soup is bomb. Move over Kooma... You are overpriced and you take forever to seat people! This is my new fave- I highly recommend!

Ding Dong - We have a winner! I highly recommend Fusion! Food - The sushi is reasonably priced and even offers combo sushi platters. They have a long list of special and house specials, all of which are under $15 and delicious! Everything we had was fresh and eye appealing. I would recommend the fantastic roll and special rainbow roll for specialties, and the spicy tuna crunch was also a good twist I would recommend ( better than the average spicy tuna roll). There are many other specialties to choose from that would please any crowd. Also this is a BYOB, which is always a plus in my book! We will be making this one of our regulars for sushi. Service - The waiters were attentive. Ours came back several times to check on us and refill our drinks. The food came out within 10 minutes and we ordered 5 rolls. Best service I've ever had at an Asian restaurant. Our waitress chanted "ding dong" when the main dish was served - nice touch. Parking - Parking is easy, the restaurant is located in a strip mall with some other restaurants and businesses, so there is a large parking lot.

This amazing Asian restaurant is a weekly stop for me, sometime 2-3 times per week. Fusion Asian was introduced me by a relative about 2 years ago. The food is great, fresh, wonderfully seasoned, and very reasonably priced. Since my first visit the staff has been very warm and friendly. I live for their sushi & Tom Yum Goon Soup, (spicy, with pieces of Pineapple for a little sweetness, and mushroom, shrimp and fragrant herbs for an amazing balanced soup). Many of my family and friends have made Fusion Asian a regular stop. They have it ALL...great food, great prices, wonderful friendly and accommodating staff and a comfortable atmosphere. If you try this restaurant I'm sure it will become one of your regular stops as well.

Ding dong! That is seriously what our waitress said every time she approached the table. And it was adorable. I might be spoiled when I go into the city (NY and Philly), since there are a plethora of great sushi places that I can choose from - even for delivery. However, back at my parents' place in ol' West Chester, the options are rather limited. So, from the limited options here, Fusion Asian has won my heart. I came with a friend, and was a little confused to find the place since I was looking for a sign that read "FUSION ASIAN", not just "FUSION" and then some other words after? But it was no big deal, it's in the West Goshen plaza, if you ever have a hard time finding it. The actual place itself was nice, although the decorations inside were a little confused. Our waitress allowed us to choose our own seats, and immediately offered us wine glasses when she saw that we had brought a bottle. We also asked for sake cups (we also brought sake), and an ice bucket, and she obliged us, almost immediately. We took a while to order - we didn't realize that there was a House Special Roll menu, so we were poring over the special rolls on the regular menu. I was a little disappointed because a majority of them were 'cooked' rolls. Not to worry, the house special menu had a lot more raw fish in their rolls. They have decently priced a la carte items, and sushi/sashimi entrees. The menu says that they carry uni! I have had a hard time finding restaurants that actually have it. I was also delighted to see that they offered South East Asian items on their menu as well - I love Green Curry and perhaps I will be back just for that. The food itself was good. We had the West Chester roll, the West Goshen roll, and the Fisherman roll. The plate came with a beautiful design - we were told it was chocolate sauce, mint sauce (to be honest, it tasted like tooth paste, so I avoided it), and a pineapple sauce. Seriously, so pretty. It was tough for us to finish everything we ordered, so they offered us boxes. They packed in ginger and wasabi, but no soy sauce (which is okay, since of course we have soy sauce at home). They brought out the check with orange pieces and tooth picks. A great fresh ending. Honestly, this place makes me pine for my favorites back in the city, in a good way. Since I am living back at home, at least for now, this place is now my go-to for whenever my sushi craving hits (which is often). Affordable (not the cheapest, but agreeable) prices, good food, and friendly waitresses. Oh, a final note: The 10% discount they offer on their website - you must PRINT it out to be able to use it. They wouldn't accept it since it was just on my phone.

We eat here a lot. It's a great value- delicious food at a reasonable price. The service is very friendly and efficient- Winnie is always checking in making sure customers are happy with their meals. The moo shu beef has a deep and smoky flavor- love it! Also, the spicy crunchy tuna roll is some tasty sushi. This is a nice place to byob with a group of friends for a consistently terrific meal.

You haven't had sushi until you've tried theirs. Top-notch, can't be beat. Consistently fresh and delicious, and surprisingly fairly priced, especially for the quality. The only down-side is that after you've been here, sushi will never be the same anywhere else. My favorite is the Spicy Tuna Tempura. I always get fried rice or pad thai with the sushi, both are always wonderful. The staff is generally always friendly, every sushi plate is hand decorated--i've seen them do it, and i think its really cool that they put in that extra effort! If you're really looking to treat yourself, their fried ice cream is great. The other desserts always look enticing, but i've tried two and wasn't impressed--save the money and get an extra roll! Be warned, however: the music is Justin Bieber's first album 90% of the time.

We had a bad take out experience here. Yes, that's hard to believe - a place with a 4.5 star rating. Things started off bad when I couldn't find a menu either on menu pages, yelp, or the google. I went to their web site on my mobile phone and there were 5 separate menus all in PDF. Wow, never would I have thought that a place that fuses foods from Asian countries would not fuse their menu together for 2014. Decided to switch over to my computer and pulled up 5 tabs so the 4 of us could find what we wanted. Sweet, there's a 10% off coupon on their website. See dropbox.com/s/jm6v81397z… . My fiancee and friend go to pick up the food. They present the coupon on the phone. They said, oh you have to print it out (nowhere on the coupon does it say that). Our bill was also $55, shaving $5 wasn't a big deal. My fiancee saw that on the take out menus there's a coupon for 10% off so they said, okay, scan this then. They said that's for a later visit. Sorry, there won't be another visit. As for the food. I am a bit biased since we were left with a sour taste in our mouth regarding the whole experience. Our friends had the sushi -- tuna roll tempura, spider roll, and shrimp tempura. They said they preferred their other spot more. I shouldn't mention the restaurant so I can remain unbiased, but google another Asian Fusion place near by and it's probably it. I had the eggplant with garlic and chicken. it wasn't bad, but it was an orange color rather than the expected dark color -- if cheap take-out Chinese places did eggplant (they rarely do), this is probably what it would have looked and tasted like. The food is nothing to rave about and the experience with take out was just a mess and if this review deters one other group from going than I hope the extra $5 they earned tonight was worth it to them. You simply can't do business like this in this day and age (terrible menu layout on the web and won't honor coupon) and expect to get away with it.

Had the Pad Thai veggie lunch special and it was.. OK. That;s all, just OK. Sauce did not seem like fish sauce. No bean sprouts. I mean, I suppose this was meant to be a "fusion" dish. Maybe I am just picky or spoiled by the Thai I get at home in Center City.

  • Daniel L.

I work in the area and this is my cheat place. The sesame chicken is amazing. It is lightly breaded and it seems not at all fatty like most chinese places. The sauce is amazing. They have very good miso soup, garden salad. Their sushi is good but not the best in the area. They have a good selection and you can always get 10% off your order. If you have not been here you should try it out. The lunch is great they give you a good amount of food and the price is right. Yes I could go down the street to two other chinese places and pay maybe $2 dollars less but they are nothing compared to here. This chinese place is different and they have a lot more sauces and choices than others. If you get a shrimp lunch here the shrimps are big jumbo shrimps. This is a big difference from most chinese places serving shrimp.

Fusion Asian is pretty good, but not as good as I was expecting. We came on a Thursday night at 9pm it was just the staff there and some children who I assume were theirs. I'm kinda loud and it was too quiet in there. I'm giving them 4 stars just based on the green curry vegetable. That was the standout of the evening. Big slices of eggplant, onion and really well flavored green curry. It was excellent. I did try the sashimi even though I don't eat that stuff anymore. It tasted fine but the presentation wasn't there. My friends enjoyed their food and said that they would definitely come back, so it looks like the people at Fusion will be seeing me again.

The best. If it wasn't for the distance I would be here way more often. Service is great, it's BYOB, and above all the sushi is delicious. Word of advice - go on their website and there is a 10% coupon you can print out!

Excellent menu selection, best sushi and sashimi in West Chester (I have been to all in this area). BYOB makes it even better and most affordable. Service is friendly and helpful. I frequently dine here and have never been disappointed.

Been coming here with my wife since they opened, and we've never had a bad meal. Their special rolls are fantastic!

Went here with our friends last night. The service was good. It's a byob place which is a plus. The sushi was decent. The west goshan roll with soft shell crab was the best. I would go back.

This is currently my favorite spot in the area. The sushi and sashimi is fantastic, and my wife loves the pork fried rice. Nice decor, great service and very reasonable pricing makes this a winner!
